The Wyandot Nation of Kansas and Monumenta will be unveiling their monument, “Trespassers Beware! Fort Conley and the Wyandot Women Warriors.” This mobile art exhibit features a multimedia presentation of the Conley sisters and their decades long defense of the Wyandot National Cemetery in Kansas City, Kansas. Designed by Omakyehstih Collective we are gathered together and with funding from the Mellon Foundation through the Kansas City Monuments Coalition, this event kicks off a multi-year tour of the exhibit around the Kansas City area.
